finally a break in the weather today. 72 degrees outside, ladies and gentlemen, down from about 100 (not an exaggeration) a few days ago. it's not supposed to get this warm in the northeast...
i feel like i've been running a marathon. the deep impact encounter is in less than 48 hours, so my job (playing peon to the scientists, basically) has been absolutely nuts this week. and then there's this big get together next saturday. "the boys" are constructing an airsoft field in our backyard for wedding-week goodness, mom's been coming up with ideas for reception favors, and i've been dealing with--of all things--makeup issues. it's a big, crazy, happy, extravagant madhouse.
